The Main Event

Saturday is the day you all have been nagging waiting for — The Main Event.

This is the day to bring everyone we love together to eat, drink, laugh and dance the night away.

The “Vibe”:
Relaxed, warm and as untraditional as we can get. BBQ/Garden Party/Festival Vibes. Think less “sit and listen” and more “mingle and mix.”

Dress Code
Dress to feel great but comfortable — “garden party meets BBQ” . If you can toast, feast and dance in it, you are sorted. Jandals welcome.

The Flow of the Day

• 1.00pm - Shuttles from Parakai start departing.

• 1.30pm – Guests start to arrive

• 2.00pm – Things officially kick off with snacks and a glass in hand.

• 4.00pm – A short but memorable moment together before the festivities roll on

• 4.30–6.00pm – Sundowners on the knoll

• 6.00–7.30pm – Grazing dinner

• 7.30pm onwards – Sweet treats, drinks, firepit chats, music and maybe even some dancing

• Late night – Late night snacks and plenty of stories.

Public Service Announcement
Please do not expect many formalities. There will be very little ceremony, no aisle, no first dance, no sit down dinner, no photo shoots, minimal speeches. Expect to meet the Bride and Groom together as you arrive. The day has been created to spend time with you all - we would rather not waste time on formalities that neither of us have any interest in!
